On an industrial site the fan count is the easy part. What decides the job is how each fan is mounted: a wall-mounted drum fan at three metres is nothing like a large-diameter fan hung off a truss at nine.
So the on-site visit is an access check first. We look at every fan and split them into what we can reach safely from our own ladders and platforms and what we cannot. Then you get one fixed price for the fans that are in.
Shed dust is not house dust
A workshop fan carries whatever the workshop makes: grinding dust, timber dust, forklift exhaust, and the grit that blows through an open roller door all dry season. Add Darwin humidity and it sets on the leading edge of the blade as a paste.

Either way you will know which fans are in and which are out before you approve the price.

How do you decide which industrial fans you can clean?
At the on-site visit, by looking at every fan. Mounting height, what is underneath it, and whether there is a safe way to get to it all decide whether a fan goes on the quote. Anything we cannot reach safely is listed as excluded on the quote, so the scope is settled before you approve a price rather than being worked out on the day.
Do you work off an elevated work platform?
No. We do not operate an EWP or scissor lift. Where a fan is too high for our own ladders and platforms, there are two options: we quote it around access equipment you already have on site and operate, or the fan comes off the job. We will tell you which fans that applies to at the quote.
Can you clean around production?
Yes. Before a shift, after one, or during a planned shutdown, whichever keeps the floor clear. Tell us your shift pattern at the quote stage and we will build the visit around it. Ladders and drop sheets need floor space, so an empty bay is worth more to the job than a long day.
How is industrial fan cleaning priced?
One fixed price from the on-site quote. There is no standard per-fan rate because industrial sites vary too much: twenty drum fans at head height is a completely different job to six large fans on a truss. No call-out fee, and the price we quote is the price you pay.
Do you clean exhaust systems, ductwork or kitchen canopies?
No. Ducted extraction systems, ductwork and commercial kitchen canopies need a specialist with the gear and the compliance paperwork for it. We clean fans: ceiling, wall, drum, pedestal and the exhaust fans in amenities. If your enquiry is really about a duct system we will say so rather than quote around it.
Are you insured?
Yes, fully insured, with the certificate available on request for your site records. Worth being straight about the other half of that: we are insured, not a licensed trade, and we do cleaning only. Anything electrical or mechanical on your fans needs a licensed tradesperson, not us.
